Beta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa
Our Mission
Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary organization of women
educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understanding.

EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE
​
Our Chapter began awarding the Roberta George Memorial Teaching Scholarship in 2001. Our chapter budgets to award one $600.00 scholarship annually.
In 2015, our chapter created the Beta Upsilon Scholarship for graduating high school seniors interested in pursing education. We award one scholarship annually with the amount varying, subject to available funds.
We support individuals completing their students teaching/internship/
practicum/etc. term of their educator preparation program and support prospective future educators.​

During the 2020-2022 biennium our Chapter will focus our monetary donations and time with the following programs:

Our Chapter purposes to contribute to world understanding, goodwill, and peace through an international fellowship of women educators united in the ideals of education. We monetarily support the International World Understanding Project, TEACH TOO.
